Pandemic Unemployment Benefits And Extensions

Federal pandemic unemployment benefits and extensions have ended.

The Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA), Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC), Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC), Extended Benefits (EB), and Lost Wages Assistance (LWA) programs ended on September 4th, 2021.

What you need to know:

  • The last week PUA and PEUC claimants could get paid for was the week ending Saturday, September 4th, 2021.
  • FPUC, the extra $300 a week payments, also ended on September 4th, 2021.
  • This cutoff does NOT affect your right to receive or ability to claim any prior week during the pandemic. If you are waiting for the Department to determine your eligibility for earlier weeks, this cutoff will not affect those weeks.
